About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Farm Crew Member to join our team and help grow a thriving, diverse organic farm. Our ranch produces a wide variety of vegetables, fruit, flowers, mushrooms, and value-added products, alongside caring for livestock including poultry, sheep, and cows.
This position is hands-on, physically demanding, and deeply rewarding. You’ll work closely with our Farm Manager and team to grow nutrient-dense food, care for the land and soil, and keep the ranch beautiful.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform core farm tasks: seed starting, planting, weeding, pruning, harvesting, transplanting
Wash, process, and pack produce to high quality standards
Assist with irrigation setup and repairs
Move soil, compost, plants, and materials as needed
Care for livestock and assist with feed, water, and basic handling
Support food preservation and value-added production
Maintain equipment and assist with general farm repairs
Contribute to the upkeep and presentation of the farm grounds
Run occasional errands and support team logistics
Participate in meetings to ensure safety, coordination, and efficiency
Qualifications:
3+ years of farming or gardening experience
Knowledge of organic growing methods and plant care
Strong work ethic and ability to handle strenuous, repetitive tasks
Positive, team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Organized, proactive, and able to work independently when needed
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
Able to lift and carry 50+ pounds
Safety-minded when using tools and equipment

The anticipated range for this position does not include benefits offered as part of the compensation package. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
