Local heating and sheet metal company looking to hire HVAC installer / service technician versed in commercial and residential units in both repairing of and installation of new units.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on HVAC systems including heat pumps.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with heating and cooling equipment.
Install and replace HVAC components as needed.
Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings with office and customers.
Ensure all work meets company and industry standards for safety and quality.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC technician and installer.
EPA certification required.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, gas furnaces, heat pumps, controls, troubleshooting, local building code and repairs.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Good communication and troubleshooting skills an absolute must. Needs to have a problem-solving mindset and be able to follow instructions. Experience with sheet metal and ductwork a plus.
