Lynn Douglas Construction (a General Contracting Corp) is currently hiring qualified Installation Crew Leaders to oversee the installation of walk in tub bath and shower units for our Corporate Partner throughout Central and Northern California.
All crew leaders must posses experience in plumbing, finish carpentry, drywall and electrical with the knowledge to safely work inside of an existing electrical panel to safely run a new dedicated circuit to each tub unit.
As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for transporting the tub and provided installation materials along with the proper equipment to each customer work site where the tub will be leak tested and then installed. You will lead the team (typically 2 man teams) and be responsible for the removal of the existing tub then installing the new electrical circuit, any plumbing changes (supply and drain) ensuring the surrounding area is free of defects (mold / dry rot), new tub unit and tub surround.
Each tub is prefabricated and leak tested twice prior to installation to ensure the installation is smooth and defect free. Every installation is typically 1-2 days in length (demo and install) and permits are pulled prior to the job starting.
The ideal crew leader is someone not only with the technical skills to oversee and install the job properly, but will poses top notch customer service skills as the majority of our customers are elderly.
This is a full time employee position. Sub-Contractor Positions are available for Licensed Contractors with a Valid CSLB LIC. #
