Events are assigned on a first come, first served basis and include:
Thursdays and Fridays
11:30 AM Guided Boat Dives (4 Hours)
Saturdays and Sundays
7:00 AM Guided Boat Dives (4 Hours)
11:30 AM Guided Boat Dives (4 Hours)
Fourth Weekend of the Month
Sunday - 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Dive Tribe (DT) Boat Drop Offs
Saturday Evening- (3 Hours) Dive Tribe Evening Dive
New to our team? No worries! We will provide training and outlines to get you familiar with the structure of our dive events. This Captains agreement means you are committing to working a minimum of two days per month. Your pay tier will be determined by your ability to exhibit our values and standards.
Tier 1: $150/Tour + Tips | Tier 2: $200/tour + Tips
Dive Tribe: Saturday Night (3 Hours): $150 | Sunday Drop Offs (7 AM-3 PM): $300

MBS
As a captain working with Monterey Bay SCUBA, you would be classified as a subcontractor. We expect you to have a Captains Card and follow agency standards.
Dive Events
Boat must be rinsed off with the windows cleaned in the morning and after each event
Please sign up for events as far in advance as possible.
You must sign a copy of the outline for every event you are captaining. (Legal)
You must fill out the dive info on dive locations and events on tour roster
If you have to cancel an event you signed up for, it is up to YOU to find a replacement.
Tips
Dive Tour tips are divided evenly between the guide and captain
Requirements
Must be a Divemaster or Dive Instructor
Email a copy of your captain’s license, private captain insurance
Must provide a negative drug test from a doctor that is less than 6 months old
Payment
To receive payment, you will turn in your clipboard with completed paperwork to the front desk and the front desk person (usually Megan) will do the invoice for you.
You will be paid based on your Tier and event type.
Parking
Day parking passes are available (first come, first served)
