Continual sourcing of candidates through personal network, database, cold-calls and web searches.
Create and coordinates internal and external job postings.
Post jobs on a variety of sites and maintain a record of success rates for each site.
Recruit and source candidates for open positions.
Phone screen and interview candidates gathering information regarding education, experience, training, job skills and salary requirements.
Have a strong ability to lead different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, etc.)
Proactively source and introduce passive candidates to managers in anticipation of future hiring needs.
Schedule interviews with manager/supervisors while providing a thorough recap for management knowledge.
Have a strong ability to write and verbally communicate documents within the hiring process, e.g., interview assessments and offer letters
Maintain recap reports on staffing, e.g., open positions, retention/recruitment strategies, initiatives and expectations as outlined within the HR department, with the emphasize on DC needs.
Maintain internal candidate database and effectively utilize database when filling positions.
Maintain candidate tracking and status in on-line applicant tracking system.
Manage the immigration process for sponsorships, work visa’s, H1B, if applicable.
Use knowledge of current legislation and employment practices to ensure compliance with EEO, ADA and employment law throughout the employment process.
Assist in ensuring that all members of management follow the Skechers Hiring Policy, Transfer Policy and Rehire Process consistently.
Conduct a variety of Skechers Hiring and Networking events while maintaining company reputation and standards.
Partner with local colleges and other institutes on effective ways to advertise positions and opportunities to their students.
Establish and maintain relationships with members of school career services offices to actively seek out and participate in school recruiting events.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 4+ years of Distribution Center Recruiting experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
Flexibility to work third shift and weekends in support of recruiting needs.
Bilingual preferred.
