Genesis10 is currently seeking an Analyst with our client in the SEO industry in their Mountain View location. This is a 6 month + contract position.

The role sits within the team of the organization.
The team drives productivity through digital-first solutions that enable its end users, in the sales team, with the data & tools required to create a competitive edge.
The team services its customers via various analytics platforms, including Tableau and Anaplan.
These tools are used to run several key business processes, such as forecasting, planning and performance reporting.
The team is also responsible for leading transformational analytics projects that are helping to improve systems, tools and ways of working within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Provide cross-platform (Tableau, Anaplan, Google Sheets) data and analytics support to business users.
The team member will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues that occur across the platforms, to ensure a high quality of service is delivered to end users.
The candidate should have strong excel skills, basic SQL knowledge (ability to write and execute simple queries) and an awareness of data visualization platforms, such as Tableau.
Provides day-to-day operational support for Sales forecasting processes and systems.
This includes data refreshes, supporting the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual process of new forecasts, plan versions and technical support for applications.
Also provides root cause analysis and resolution of the end-to-end data ingestion to Tableau forecast reporting.
Help with assuring the smooth delivery of existing planning processes and making recommendations to drive further efficiencies, through system automation and process improvements.
Upskilling on Tableau and Anaplan will be provided to the candidate to enable a smooth initiation.
Support regional planners in the operation and data setup within S&OP Model to meet accuracy and timeliness standards for Sales-owned forecast signals (weekly forecast, monthly v-cycle, target setting, AoP, actualization), including activities such as:
Validate Key to SKU Disagg
SKU Config setup
Review Forecast Variance and Decoder Analysis Reports and act as appropriate
NPI setup
Google sheets troubleshooting and enhancements
Root cause analysis on any issues from Anaplan Ingestion to Forecast data in Tableau
Liaising with the Anaplan support team to diagnose technical issues and create a business centered solution
Develop Training Documentation
Host Anaplan Training Sessions & Office Hours
Craft and send recurring communications about weekly, quarterly and annual forecast cycle preparation, forecast signal outputs, and XFN hand-offs
Own the intake and delivery of continuous improvement feature requests for current forecasting process
Qualifications:
2-3 years of professional experience within business intelligence / data analytics or solution ownership roles
Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work
Advanced problem-solving skills
Basic experience with SQL
Ability to build strong cross functional relationships
Tolerance for ambiguity and ability to work in a fast-changing environment, with an entrepreneurial approach
Comfortable briefing stakeholders on complex issues, in time sensitive situations
A passion to make things happen, be creative in approach, use data to drive decisions
Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)
Desired:
Experience using demand planning tools (e.g. Anaplan, Logility, Kannaxis, etc.)
Experience with systems deployments and data architecture methodologies
Awareness of Tableau (or equivalent BI tool)
