INTERVIEWS WILL BE HELD THE WEEK OF DECEMBER 2, 2024 We are seeking an experienced attorney who is ready to tackle a leadership role!In this position you will lead, supervise and mentor a team of Deputy District Attorney's who focus on misdemeanor caseloads. In addition to your supervisory role you will also maintain and prosecute a felony caseload. TheSupervising Criminal Attorney (https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/mynevadacounty/classspecs/1506742?keywords=Supervising%20Criminal%20Attorney&pagetype=classSpecifications) will practice, promote, and enforce ethical prosecution in line with the office’s mission, exhibit integrity and develop meaningful relationships with the Court, law enforcement, and all other criminal justice partners!Assignments in this class require experience in the prosecution of the most difficult, complex and sensitive criminal trial cases requiring highly advanced legal knowledge, skill and experience. Some assignments may involve supervising a satellite office. The ideal candidate will be comfortable and proficient in the use of technology as management of case information, evidence and information exchange is digital.Examples of duties include:

Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise and review the work of staff involved in researching and prosecution of cases.

Aid in the selection of staff; provide or coordinate staff training; conduct performance evaluations.

Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work

Adapting to changing priorities and requirements in a fast paced legal environment
