Description We are offering an exciting job opportunity in Newbury Park, California for a Full Charge Bookkeeper who is highly organized and detail-oriented. In this role, you will be overseeing the entire range of accounting operations, ensuring that financial reporting is accurate and in compliance with all relevant standards. You will be working closely with the management team, providing them with accurate financial information to assist in strategic decision-making. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the entire general ledger, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll. Carry out regular reconciliations of bank and other accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance. Administer the processes for month-end and year-end closing. Maintain inventory records, track costs, and work with production to ensure accurate job costing. Assist in the creation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis reports. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax, and other regulatory requirements. Manage payroll processing, tax reporting, and compliance with labor laws. Collaborate with external auditors and tax preparers during audits and tax filings. Prepare cash flow projections and monitor the cash position of the business. Assist with other financial projects as needed by senior management. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for managing and analyzing financial data. Solid understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary to ensure proper handling of all financial records. Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must for maintaining accurate financial transactions. Proficiency in QuickBooks is required for streamlining accounting operations and improving productivity. Ability to perform Month End Close tasks efficiently to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Skill in Account Reconciliation is vital for resolving any discrepancies in financial records.
