Description:The Human Resources (HR) Associate – Recruiter focuses on LA Family Housing’s (LAFH) recruitment efforts and works closely with the Director of Recruitment and Onboarding to ensure agency recruitment goals are met. The HR Associate – Recruiter, along with the Director of Recruitment, collaborates with department managers on a regular basis to discuss hiring needs and recruitment strategies. This position will manage the internal HRIS recruitment module to ensure a smooth streamlined recruitment, onboarding, and training process for hiring managers. The HR Associate – Recruiter will assist with ensuring that LAFH attracts, hires and retains the best employees while growing a strong talent pipeline. Manage the internal Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Assist with designing and implementing overall recruiting strategy Create and maintain a diverse and continuous applicant pool for open positions Prepare recruitment materials and post job ads to appropriate job boards Represent the agency at both digital and in-person career fairs to develop working relationships with industry contacts and colleges to aid in recruiting efforts Source and recruit candidates and provide qualified resumes to hiring managers Screen candidates resumes and job applications and conduct pre-screening phone interviews when necessary Conduct interviews when necessary, using reliable recruiting and selections tools Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills (including soft skills), experience and aptitudes Act as a point of contact to build influential candidate relationships during the selection process Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices Maintain all pertinent applicant information and interview data in the agency Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Assist with the development and tracking of recruitment metrics to gauge the effectiveness of the recruitment and hiring process; generate and analyze reports as requested Create and set continuous improvement goals Comply with all administrative duties and record keeping Additional tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor Able to collect and interpret data-based measurements to demonstrate the effectiveness or failure of the recruitment system from position opening to onboarding Skills in database management and record keeping Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work Ability to travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule Must be able to successfully manage multiple priorities and projects within tight department metrics and deadlines, as well as be able to manage conflicting priorities and projects Should possess very strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills, with pride in accuracy and quality of work; able to be highly collaborative within a solid team environment Previous experience with social services and/or homeless programs preferred Proficient in Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)Skills:Recruiting, Recruitment, Talent acquisition, Human resources, Written and verbal skills, Onboarding, Hiring, Full cycle recruiting, Full cycle, ultipro, Administrative support, application lifecycle management, ats, cms, Applicant tracking systems, Microsoft office, Detail, Compliance, Hr support, Hr administration, Hris, hr/admin, screen resumesTop Skills Details:Recruiting,Recruitment,Talent acquisition,Human resources,Written and verbal skills,Onboarding,Hiring,Full cycle recruiting,Full cycle,ultipro,Administrative support,application lifecycle management,ats,cms,Applicant tracking systems,Microsoft office,DetAdditional Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Systems Management or like field Minimum of two (2) years working in human resources, staffing agencies, social services or like industry Experience working with a Human Resource Information System; Ultimate Software (UltiPro) highly desired Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including customer service focus in working with all internal organizational levels and external contacts Ability to work in a fast pace, high pressure environment Strong decision-making skills Proven work experience as a recruiter Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment Ability to collect and analyze data and generate reports General knowledge of various employment laws and practices Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS) Should possess very strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills, with pride in accuracy and quality of work; able to be highly collaborative within a solid team environment Previous experience with social services and/or homeless programs preferred Proficient in Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)Experience Level:Intermediate LevelAbout Aston Carter: Please Note: Scammers are posing as Aston Carter.
