IT Avalon is looking for an email deployment specialist to join our healthcare client's team in Oakland, CA.
This is a 6 month contract role with possible extensions and conversion to FTE!
Please note: this role will begin remotely. Once normal business resumes, there is an opportunity for partial remote.

Contribute to the development of an email strategy of acquisition and retention email campaigns from start to finish including:
- Support creative development of email templates and landing pages with internal copywriters, designers, etc.
- Build program test plans. Perform and analyze A/B split testing for template formats, subject lines, and landing pages.
- Ensure the timely, accurate deployment of email marketing campaigns.
- Ensure mobile-friendly, responsive email templates.
- Be able to think big picture yet execute well.
- Minimize unsubscribes.
- Analyze campaign performance and implement improvements.
- Monitor campaign performance and present results to clients in monthly and ad-hoc reporting
- Monitor, report and analyze performance to improve conversion sates, increase ROI, prevent contact fatigue, and optimize the content
- Demonstrated understanding of email marketing best practices
- Fluency in HTML to author and debug outbound emails ahead of each send
- Familiarity with analytical and database tools.
- An ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Some experience with marketing automation systems or email service platforms such as Marketo, Marketing Cloud, and/or Pardot.

A solid understanding of email marketing with experience executing emails and journeys in SalesForce Marketing Cloud. 1. Interest and experience in process improvement. 2. Awareness about the role of an email deployment specialist and the end-to-end email marketing process. 2. Interest and experience in data analysis. 3. Experience executing, or ability to execute, emails with large teams in a large matrixed organization. 3. Interest and experience in digital customer experience. 4. Experience with HTML and CSS. Experience deploying email campaign programs, including A/B Testing. Ability to analyze campaign performance and implement improvements, creating feedback loops. 4. 5. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. 5. Education Requirement: A BA/BS in a related field such as marketing or business and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Software Skills Required: Email marketing or marketing automation platforms; HTML and/or CSS; MS Excel; etc.
