Scientific Laboratory Systems Administrator Oceanside, CA (Onsite required) Type: Contract Length: Long term rolling contract Requirements:
Perform Oceanside platforms system administration, configuration and validation tasks.
Provide systems administration and technical support in a GMP regulated environment.
Provide end-user support and training including troubleshooting problems at the application level (includes working with vendors to resolve issues).
Co-ordinate with Infrastructure, IT, and Database administrators to ensure continuous system availability.
Provide architectural solutions for interface developments.
Support the validation process of Oceanside system and modules.
Participate in development of system validation plans to ensure that approach is commensurate with risk assessment.
Support the development of use cases and documentation of user requirements and functional requirements specifications to ensure that requirements are complete, accurate, and testable.
Support the development of test strategies and defining test data (design the approach for testing each requirement).
Execute validation and verification testing protocols and document results.
Document and manage software defects and validation issues, assessments, and resolutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Beyond Trust Bomgar for remote access and Lab Computer Administration
Experience with Zebra GK420t Label Printers and Print Server Troubleshooting and Administration
Experience with Benchling
In addition, though this is not a scientific role, it is helpful to have a background in Analytical Chemistry, Cell Culture or Molecular Biology and familiarity working with the following instruments:
Waters/Agilent HPLCs using Chromeleon and Empower
Sartorius Ambr Bioreactors
Beckman Coulter Cell Counters (both XR and BLU)
Hamilton Liquid Handlers
Bruker/Waters/Thermo Mass Spec and familiarity with MassLynx or Xcalibur/Foundations Software
The salary range provided for this contract role represents our good faith estimate for this position.
