HR Generalist

Description We are in search of an HR Generalist to join our team based in Orange, California. As an HR Generalist, your role will encompass a wide range of HR functions, including managing recruitment, addressing employee relations, overseeing compensation and benefits, and facilitating training and development initiatives. This role provides a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities Implement talent acquisition strategies and manage the recruitment process from job posting to selection Smoothly integrate new employees through effective onboarding processes Work closely with department leadership to identify staffing requirements Timely, fair, and consistent handling of employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts Promote a positive work environment through engagement initiatives and wellness programs Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions to uphold a positive work environment Design and manage performance appraisal systems while supporting managers in providing constructive feedback Implement strategies aimed at employee retention and career development Manage the administration of compensation, benefits, and retirement plans to ensure competitiveness and legal compliance Conduct salary reviews and benchmarking to maintain equity and competitiveness Identify staff training needs and oversee the development of in-house training programs Organize continuous detail oriented development opportunities for employees Requirements A minimum of 5 years of experience in a HR Generalist role or similar. Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services, with a strong understanding of its functionalities and applications. Experience with ADP Workforce Now, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage workforce data. Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, showcasing the ability to handle large amounts of data transfers. Familiarity with Ceridian and Dayforce, indicating a comprehensive understanding of HR management software. Demonstrated expertise in Benefit Functions, ensuring the ability to manage and administer employee benefits. Exceptional Communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with employees at all levels. Proven experience in Compliance, with a focus on ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations. Strong skills in Employee Relations, with a history of effectively resolving workplace issues. Familiarity with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), highlighting an understanding of employee rights and employer responsibilities.
