We are Acero (www.acero.tech). We specialize in implementing an open-source ERP system called Odoo (odoo.com) for small businesses in the LA region.
We recently started working with a Korean metals trading company that sells aerospace-grade metal alloys to SpaceX, and we are in need of an intern or entry-level person, who has a passion for accounting and IT, and would like to be on our team to help us implement ERP system for this company.
It's important that you speak both English and Korean fluently, and are able to translate for us when we interface with the accounting team based in Seoul. You will be working with experienced consultant on our team, so prior knowledge about Odoo or ERP is not needed.
You do, however, need to have a solid grasp of accounting principals, in particular, double-entry accounting.
The scope of work in an ERP implementation includes:
- Set up of Chart of Accounts
- Cleaning & importing of historical accounting data
- Collaborate with client's accounting staff to resolve accounting issues
- Training of client's accounting staff on Odoo
- Detailed configuration of accounting-related settings in Odoo
- Define inventory-related accounting methods, such as for perpetual inventory costing
- Define accounting reports
- Create compliance with local tax laws
This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience in fast-paced ERP implementation. Being able to work on a project that involves integration with SpaceX is a great addition to your resume!
