RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, budgeting, and analysis of financial results compared to budget and forecasting.

- File annual 1099s and coordinate the annual audit and tax return preparation, including K-1s, with an outside accounting firm.

- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks such as billing, payables, cash management, bank account monitoring, deposits, general ledger adjustments, and payroll.

- Verify receipts to credit card statements and follow up on any discrepancies.

- Perform monthly reconciliations on all bank accounts and credit cards; review all incoming invoices for accuracy.

- Develop and maintain annual budgets and forecasts.

- Light misc. office support work

QUALIFICATIONS

- At least 7 years of experience in accrual accounting and bookkeeping.

- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.

- Solid work history and strong references.
