Reports to Corporate Controller where you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, and compliance functions for a manufacturing company. The role requires strong technical accounting skills, experience in the manufacturing industry, and an ability to ensure accuracy in financial records and regulatory compliance. Potential to be promoted to Accounting Manager based on performance.
Assist with internal and external audits/reviews, and preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Analyze financial performance against the budget and provide variance reports to management. Lead process improvement to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the department. Train and mentor junior accounting staff, improve company procedures.
Bachelors degree in accounting with at least 3 years of accounting experience, public accounting audit experience a plus. Knowledge of ERP accounting systems, Microsoft Dynamics a plus. Strong Excel skills required.
