Tax Preparer - Level II
We are a staffing agency, seeking full-time tax preparers to fill open roles in the Orange County area. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3-5 years of tax preparation experience:
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive tax returns for a wide range of forms, including 1040, 1065, 1120, and more, ensuring every detail is meticulously handled.
- Maintain regular contact with clients via phone, email, and text to provide updates, address inquiries, and ensure satisfaction with the outcomes of their tax returns.
- Year-end tax projections
- Understanding of accounting and bookkeeping practices
- Ability to manage the complete tax preparation process independently, including scanning documents and obtaining any
missing information
- Strong attention to detail, with the capability to identify requirements for tax returns and familiarize yourself with
internal processes for gathering necessary information
- Advanced proficiency with tax software such as Drake, ProSeries, or Lacerte, and familiarity with Logics or Salesforce.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple tax returns during peak season
Experience & Requirements:
- 3 years of tax experience
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Tax Preparation Certification, Enrolled Agent status, or CPA license is required.
