We are a tight-knit accounting firm in Irvine who is looking for a goal-driven, qualified tax preparer to join our team!
Our ideal candidate is able to ensure our client’s confidence in us by providing, delivering superior returns, and providing knowledge on future tax planning strategies. This individual also feels comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as being able to independently manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Create/file personal and corporate tax returns
- Calculate and estimate tax payments, deductibles, & liabilities
- Collect data from income statements and expense documents
- Review data on reports and detect possible errors
- Advise individuals and companies on tax strategies
- Auditing all tax forms for completeness and accuracy
- Bookkeeping/P&L reconciliation
Requirements:
- CTEC, CPA or Enrolled Agent Certification
- Must have knowledge of Drake tax prep software
- Quickbooks knowledge is a plus
- Solely in-office position @ office in Irvine
- Excellent computational ability
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Currently offering a part-time position with flexible hours which can grow into a full-time position.
Salary Dependent On Experience.
