Tax Supervisor

Due to continued growth we are now looking for an energetic Tax Supervisor to join the firm's dynamic team of tax professionals. This position will report directly to our Chief Tax Officer (CTO).
Responsibilities:
Ability to work closely with client C-suite executives on wide variety of tax consulting and compliance projects.
Proficient in review of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
Familiarity with multi-state and foreign tax issues (we will provide training on these topics).
Previous experience supervising and training Staff.
Must be highly motivated and experienced in efficiently managing multiple client engagements.
Perform tax research projects.
Respond to notices from various taxing agencies.
Work on other special assignments as assigned by CTO.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required; CPA or CPA candidate preferred
Minimum of 4 years of tax experience gained within a public accounting firm or related experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
Highly dependable to complete tasks timely, and as planned.
Strong attention to detail, deadlines, and budgets.
Ability to multi-task and take initiative.
