We are seeking a well rounded sales and logistics manager to lead our beautiful nursery located in San Juan Capistrano to new levels of success. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, sales management of a team, nursery knowledge (plant and tree identification), landscape sales experience, excellent communciation skills, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Management & Goals: Sell landscape enhancements and maintenance contracts to meet sales targets of yourself and your team's production goals.
- Leadership Development: Grow and develop your team to be successful both professionally and personally for a better quality of life for themselves, their family, and the company.
- Yard Crew and Installation Crew Coordination: Set up crews for fine gardening tasks and enhancements, coordinating with the Designer and Project Manager to schedule installations, manage yard crew to maintain and upkeep all product on the nursery grounds and sales floor
- Client Relationship Management: Proactively communicate with clients, manage contracts, and maintain strong relationships with our client base.
- Quality Control: Perform quality control audits to ensure work meets high standards.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in landscape and/or nursery sales and store/sales management.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of landscape industry practices, understanding of routing crews and logistics to coordinate installations, plant and tree identification, mangement of a sales team.
- Skills: Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. Ability to train, motivate, and lead a sales team to new heights.
- Qualities: Results-driven, comfortable making decisions, proactive, organized, and customer-focused.
