Horizons Construction Company Int’l., Inc. is seeking a qualified Project Administrator to support our commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, with experience preparing and coordinating project documentation, in addition to assisting the Project Manager / Superintendent in day to day project management tasks.
Responsibilities include:
Assist the management in planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress.
Prepare, organize, and maintain project documentation, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth communication and timely exchange of information.
Help monitor project budgets, costs, and payments.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of project correspondence, drawings, and specially daily reports.
Support quality and safety compliance documentation.
Assist with project closeout packages and punch-list tracking.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not necessary (Construction Management or related field a plus).
No more than 3 years of experience in commercial construction (administrative, assisting Project Manager or coordination role).
Strong knowledge of construction documents and processes.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.); experience with construction management software is a plus. We use Procore and we can train the candidate as needed.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Location:
Project assignments will vary within approximately a 45-mile radius of our Orange, California corporate office. Current open project is in Riverside, CA and will be throughout the end of next year.
