At Checkered Flag, located in Lake Forest, CA, we strive for excellence in every aspect of our operations. We are open 7am-7pm daily.
Shifts are typically between 6-8 hours. Shifts start as early as 6:30am. Closing shifts end at 7:30pm.
Required experience:
1 year in a customer service experience setting required (retail, auto, food, sales, etc)
Available to work a variety of shifts including early mornings (6:30am start) to evening shifts (7:30pm end)
Reliable transportation and valid drivers license.
Weekend availability is required.
Highly organized and attentive to detail.
Computer proficiency.
Problem solving abilities and professional acumen.
Authorized to work in US.
Fluent in English (bilingual in Spanish preferred)
Leadership experience preferred.
Job description and general duties:
As a keyholder at Checkered Flag Lux Express Car Wash, you would be wearing multiple hats. Duties include:
Greeting customers with a smile
Educate customers about one time washes as well as our monthly programs
Set and maintain sales goals for self and team
Answer customers questions and concerns
Communicate equipment concerns to management
Maintain a clean, safe and organized area for customers and staff
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety regulations
Able to work indoors and outdoors in variable weather conditions- this position will be outdoors for a majority of the shift
Able to work near loud equipment
Able to stand for 4 or more consecutive hours
Provide excellent customer service
Explain services provided at the car wash
Communicate effectively
Be punctual, responsible and accountable
Work around moving vehicles and high-traffic environments
Able to lift 0-50 pounds
Additional duties as assigned
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
