Rehearsal and recording studio seeks part-time front desk attendant. Job entails greeting clients, sound system assistance, accepting payments, answering calls, scheduling, gear placement, plus general cleaning and maintenance.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL, ability to follow instructions, a positive attitude, and customer service skills are a must.
We are looking for a part-time attendant to start work immediately. While on your shift, you will be solely responsible for client relations and attending the rehearsal rooms. This includes opening and closing duties, checking bands in/out, cleaning (including bathrooms), setting up the studios and gear, working the cash drawer, scheduling bookings (computer), answering phones, etc. You will go through training for several shifts before you running the studio on your own. You will be given shifts according to your schedule and will receive between 4 to 25 hours a week. Shifts range from 3 to 8 hours.
Specific shifts that we are looking to fill are:
Friday Closing 5:45PM - close (between 9PM & 1:45AM)
Saturday Closing 5:45PM - close (between 9PM & 1:45AM)
Sunday Opening & Closing 10:45AM - close (between 9PM & 1:45AM)
Additional shifts will also be available based on other employee schedules.
We treat our clients with friendliness and respect; customer service and a positive, friendly attitude in the work place is a must. Applicants are required to have past experience with band gear (drums, amps, PA, etc), have good communication skills, and a flexible schedule is preferred. The ability to follow directions with very specific details is key, and you must be self-motivated and able to work well on your own.
Starting compensation is $15.50/hour plus free rehearsal time, music accessory discounts, and discounted time in our world-class recording studio after a short probationary period. Quarterly performance reviews can result in raises.
