Job Summary:
We are seeking a customer-focused Rental Agent to join our team. As a Car Rental Agent, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and pleasant rental experience for our customers. You will be responsible for assisting customers with vehicle rental inquiries, processing reservations, providing information about rental options, and ensuring all paperwork and transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer customer inquiries regarding vehicle rental options, pricing, and policies.
Provide detailed information on rental agreements, including terms and conditions.
Process rental reservations, including vehicle selection and availability.
Verify customer information, driver's licenses, and insurance coverage.
Inspect rental vehicles for cleanliness and condition before rental and upon return.
Assist customers with loading and unloading luggage or personal items as needed.
Explain vehicle features and operation to customers.
Complete rental agreements accurately and collect rental fees.
Maintain records of rental transactions and customer interactions.
Address customer concerns, questions, or issues promptly and effectively.
Coordinate vehicle pickup and return schedules.
Ensure the availability of rental vehicles by coordinating maintenance and cleaning schedules.
Maintain a clean and organized rental office area.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with team members to achieve rental department goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the table:
Previous customer service or sales experience, preferably in the automotive or rental industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented and able to handle paperwork accurately.
Proficiency in computer applications and rental software (training will be provided).
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Writing, Reading, and Speaking fluent Spanish is a plus
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
