RECEPTION / MEMBER CONCIERGE
Hammer & Nails | Men's Grooming Shop is the newest and most unique concept in the grooming industry with a core focus Hand and Foot care for men (MANicure & Pedicures) as well as Barbering services including Haircuts, Straight-Razor Shaves (face & head), and Beard Trims, Facials and Facial Waxing (ears, eyebrows, nose). We are looking for a high-energy, front desk Concierge / Manager that can provide our 5-Star Experience to every client from the moment they step into Hammer & Nails located in the upscale Ocean Ranch Village in Laguna Niguel / Dana Point, CA.
Job Overview
Proficient Communication, Exceptional Customer Service, & Sales skills are the main requirements for this position. Additional requirements for the position include cash handling, phone etiquette, and POS computer skills (Zenoti). The ideal applicant must be professional, outgoing, engaging, energetic, resourceful, and friendly.
Responsibilities include:
Offering a friendly welcome to all clients and facilitating a smooth transition between their arrival to service(s), and check-out.
Accomplishing sales goals by leading our clients to the service options that best meet their needs.
Providing assistance to the Owners, Shop Manager and Staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Full-time or part time ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings to close, weekends.
Ability to work in a dynamic shop environment.
Excellent time management and listening skills, good judgment, and the ability to multi-task.
Excellent communication skills
Strong leadership qualities; motivated and respectful.
Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with peers, supervisors and clients.
Computer knowledge for our point-of-sale (POS) system.
A minimum of 2-years' experience in sales, hospitality, retail, or customer service industry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide exceptional customer service in-person and over the phone.
Understand the needs of our Clients; handle and resolve customer service issues to maintain customer loyalty.
Provide the client with a clear understanding of the shop policies, services and pricing before services are performed.
Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with shop personnel.
Manage beverage and associated supplies inventory.
Provide shop tours to each new client.
Promote and sell Men's Grooming Club Memberships, retail products and gift cards.
Answer telephones.
Setting and confirming appointments.
Provide information on services offered by shop.
Prepare guest records for treatments.
Ensure shop opening and closing procedures are followed.
Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining lobby and shop public areas.
General administrative and clerical support.
