Greetings!
We are a small, cozy, flourishing Reggio-inspired preschool in North Tustin seeking an energetic and nurturing Lead Teacher who has experience in play-based, Reggio-inspired curriculum. You will be working with potty trained 2 to 3 year old's with an assistant teacher. The class size is 10 with 2 teachers, so a 5:1 ratio. This is an established classroom.
Requirements for the position:
- A minimum of 12 ECE College units that include the following classes: Child Growth and Development; Child, Family and Community and Introduction to Curriculum.
- Flexibility, strong critical thinking skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge or the Reggio Emilia philosophy and experience building emergent curriculum.
- Must be comfortable using app based software for parent communication, lesson planning, photos, observations and documentation.
Schedule:
-Mon through Friday, 8:30am -2pm during the school year (August - May). Ability to work 3 weeks of our 6 week summer camp program.
Start Date: August 4th - 8th for teacher prep week. August 12th for Meet and Greet. School starts August 13th.
Compensation: $23 per hour
