About Us:
Our Bay Area Montessori school is a recognized leader in early childhood education. We’re expanding to Los Angeles and need a dynamic director to lead this new venture from the ground up.
The Role:
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Montessori professional. The Montessori School Director will be responsible for establishing the new Los Angeles location from its initial stages, including setting up the school, recruiting staff, implementing the curriculum, and managing all operational aspects. Essentially, they will be involved in every step of creating and running the school.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the establishment of the new LA location, ensuring Montessori excellence.
Oversee site setup, licensing, and resource procurement.
Implement and maintain the Montessori curriculum.
Recruit, train, and lead a team of dedicated educators.
Build strong relationships with families and the community.
Manage daily operations, including budgeting and compliance.
Qualifications:
AMI or AMS Montessori certified.
Proven 4 years or more leadership experience in Montessori education.
Strong organizational, communication, and team-building skills.
Experience in opening a new school is a plus.
CPR/First Aid certificate.
Must be qualified per Title 22 requirements.
