Job Posting: Youth Sports Coordinator
We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Youth Sports Coordinator for our community sports programs. This role requires a highly responsible and proactive individual who can effectively coordinate with various stakeholders, supervise volunteers, and ensure the safety and well-being of all participating students. The Site Manager will play a key role in organizing and managing tryouts, practices, and tournaments, ensuring a positive and smooth experience for students, families, and coaches.
Responsibilities:
Attend Tournament Liaison Meetings to ensure communication is seamless and expectations are clear.
Serve as the main point of contact for all details related to tryouts, practices, and tournaments.
Confirm and verify field reservations with the District's Use of Facilities staff.
Supervise, coordinate, and support volunteer coaches, acting as a liaison between the District, coaches, and school offices.
Collect and manage all student registration paperwork and fees, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during practices, including ensuring that every student is picked up by an adult after each session.
Take daily attendance of all players at assigned sites and provide these records to the District.
Communicate schedules and field locations with tournament officials, principals, front office, coaches, staff, families, and students.
Ensure a fair and positive practice and tournament environment for all students.
Ensure that every team has a head coach and provide any necessary support for the coaching staff.
Maintain current CFR/First Aid certification.
Required Certifications and Clearances:
Site Managers must provide proof of certification or complete the required training and clearance through the District. The training for this will be paid for by the company This includes:
Concussion Course Certificatn
Heat Illness Prevention Course Certification
TB Clearance
Fingerprinting (Live Scan)
Additional duties may be assigned to ensure a smooth, positive, and safe athletic experience for all participating students.
Work Hours:
Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to lead and motivate volunteer coaches and staff.
Experience in youth sports, event coordination, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage safety protocols effectively.
