Small design oriented architectural firm is looking for an individual to provide design and drafting support as well as graphics and renderings. We design upscale custom homes and remodels in Laguna Beach, Irvine, Los Angeles, and surrounding areas. Some multi-family and light commercial. 5 - 10 years experience in custom residential and multi-family projects required. Proficiency in Autocad, Sketchup, and Adobe photoshop (or equivalent) are minimum requirements. Must be self motivated, reliable, cooperative, willing to learn, and have a solid grasp of technology.
Tasks will include:
- Drafting architect's sketches to Autocad
- Rendering designs on Sketchup and Photoshop
- Preparing construction drawings on Autocad: plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Building department corrections
- Interfacing with building officials during the approval process
- Attending construction meetings and assisting in providing information
This is a part time position which will likely transition to full time. Although hours are flexible, commitment to project goals and deadlines is imperative. You may work at our Laguna Beach office as well as remotely. We have a number of high end residential projects in the pipeline and need assistance moving them forward as our practice grows.
