Scratch Bakery Café in Laguna Hills is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cookie Maker and Bagger to join our team! If you love the smell of fresh-baked cookies and enjoy working with your hands, we’d love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of cookies according to established recipes and standards.
Monitor baking times and oven temperatures to ensure product quality and consistency.
Portion dough, shape cookies, and arrange on baking sheets.
Bag and package cookies accurately, ensuring freshness and proper labeling.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking and packaging area.
Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols.
Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in baking or food production is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions precisely.
Ability to tie ribbon and twine efficiently.
Attention to detail and high standards for quality.
Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Positive attitude and a team player.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Reliable and punctual.
Work Hours & Compensation
Part-time. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. One or two additional days may be added closer to holiday busy season.
Minimum wage.
