At Wild Strawberry Cafe, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming space where great food and great people come together. We’re looking for a reliable, fast-moving, and positive team player to join our back-of-house crew and help keep our kitchen and cafe running smoothly on busy weekends.
Position Overview:
We are hiring a Part-Time Dishwasher / Prep Cook with required weekend availability. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen while also supporting the front-of-house team by helping maintain our outdoor seating area. It’s a great opportunity for someone dependable who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is open to growing into a larger kitchen support role over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dish station and kitchen areas
- Assist with light kitchen prep as needed (chopping, portioning, organizing)
- Check outdoor tables throughout the shift and assist with clearing as needed
- Ensure the outdoor seating area is clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Take out trash and recycling
- Help with end-of-day cleaning and closing duties
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Support both back-of-house and front-of-house teams with a positive, can-do attitude
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be available Saturdays & Sundays, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Friendly, upbeat, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working in a busy cafe environment
- Willingness to help beyond dishwashing, including prep, cleaning, and general cafe support
- Desire to learn and grow with the team
- Previous kitchen or cafe experience is a plus, but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- $20–$21/hour ($17/hour + tips), based on experience
