1. Front Desk Agent

Position Summary:

As a Front Desk Agent at The Buena Park Grand Hotel & Suites, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. Your role is pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing guests’ needs promptly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm, friendly attitude and efficiently check them in and out of the hotel.

- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications with accuracy.

- Answer phones, respond to emails, and address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.

- Provide guests with information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities.

- Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and other methods, ensuring accuracy in billing and transactions.

- Maintain and update guest information and records in the hotel management system.

- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address any guest issues or special requests.

- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction.

- Follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure a smooth operation.

Essential Skills:

- Proven experience as a Front Desk Agent or similar customer service role.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Proficient in using hotel management software and computer systems.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

- Basic financial acumen and experience with cash handling and billing.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

2. Night Auditor

Position Summary:

The Night Auditor at The Buena Park Grand Hotel & Suites will manage the front desk during the overnight shift while also performing essential financial and administrative duties. This role requires a balance of customer service and accounting skills to ensure a smooth and efficient night operation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and prepare reports for review by management.

- Check-in and check-out guests during the night shift, ensuring accurate processing of reservations and payments.

- Reconcile daily financial transactions, including room charges, cash handling, and credit card settlements.

- Address and resolve guest issues, concerns, and special requests with a high level of professionalism.

- Ensure that all security procedures are followed and that the hotel remains safe and secure throughout the night.

- Prepare and distribute reports to management, including occupancy statistics, financial summaries, and other relevant data.

- Monitor and maintain hotel inventory, including guest supplies and office supplies.

- Assist with administrative tasks and prepare for the upcoming day shift.

- Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, following hotel protocols.

Essential Skills:

- Previous experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role within a hotel environment.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

- Proficiency in hotel management software and accounting systems.

- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

- Ability to work independently and maintain composure during night shifts.

- Flexibility to work overnight hours, including weekends and holidays.
