As a Floor Supervisor for Trevor’s at the Tracks, you will oversee the daily operations in the front of house. To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience in both the front and back of the house. We expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will help ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and that patrons have a positive experience when dining in the restaurant.
General Responsibilities
Oversee the flow of the business during business hours. Being active in all areas of the restaurant (front desk, bar, kitchen, café, and main dining areas) for the whole dining period.
Responsible for daily cash handling which includes handling server cash drops, secure necessary change for operations and ensure all cash banks are balanced for service.
Work as part of the restaurant team to assist with and respond to guests’ and Team Members’ needs. Effectively communicate with management and other team members to promptly address issues and resolve concerns.
Resolves guest complaints, concerns or questions and escalate serious incidents to AGM or GM.
Provide direction and guidance to FOH Team Members to maintain high quality standards in accordance with Trevor’s at the Tracks standards and specifications.
Experienced working with POS Systems Distinguish between comp and void, reopen closed checks, adjust payment errors, combine & split checks, enter new buttons in the system, etc.
Requirements:
Applicants will have a high school diploma or GED. Applicant must be 21 years or older. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.
2+ years serving in high-end/high-volume establishments
Must have a California Food Safety Food Handlers Certification
Basic knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, POS).
Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance.
Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet appropriate standards.
