Position Overview:
We’re seeking team members for three key roles on the Frylicious food truck:
- Cook: Operate fryers and grill, cooking menu items to perfection.
- Food Expediting Station: Assemble and package orders quickly and accurately.
- Driver/Cashier (Crew Lead): This leadership role involves safely driving the food truck to and from events, managing on-site operations, handling payments, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have prior leadership experience, a clean driving record (no DUIs), and the ability to lead the team efficiently during service.
Each role requires individuals who are professional, reliable, friendly, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Be punctual, dependable, and ready to work with a positive attitude.
- Operate fryers and grill efficiently, cooking frozen and refrigerated items to specified temperatures.
- Assemble, package, and expedite customer orders accurately and quickly.
- Handle customer orders and payments with a friendly, courteous demeanor.
- Drive the food truck safely to and from scheduled locations (Driver/Cashier (Crew Lead) role).
- Lead the on-site team during events, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service (Driver/Cashier (Crew Lead) role).
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and safety standards at all times.
- Keep the work area, equipment, and truck clean, organized, and safe.
- Work effectively as part of a team to provide smooth, efficient service during busy hours.
- Assist with restocking supplies, cleaning between shifts, and other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast food or restaurant environment.
- Responsible, punctual, and professional in appearance and attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong work ethic, with attention to detail and quality.
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude.
- Basic knowledge of food handling and cooking equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions, processes, and safety guidelines precisely.
- Reliable transportation (or access to Uber/Lyft).
- Flexibility for part-time shifts, with potential for full-time opportunities.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience (Driver/Cashier (Crew Lead) role).
- Valid driver’s license and truck driving experience with a clean driving record (no DUIs) (Driver/Cashier (Crew Lead) role).
- Ability to lead and motivate team members during service (Driver/Cashier (Crew Lead) role).
