Gummy Production: is responsible for identifying, and executing gummy production. They will be part of the production processes. They will also be responsible for helping take inventory needed for production including supplies. They will coordinate with other teams to fulfill orders timely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Execution of gummy production. Starting with inventory, weighing and measuring, cooking, demolding, sugaring, curing and cleaning according to company SOP and recipes.
Coordinate with the other departments to meet deliverable schedules.
Participates in the team to improve Safety, Quality, Service and Cost.
Provides frequent informal and periodic formal job performance feedback to the team.
Completes other projects and tasks as assigned by management. :
Qualifications:
1+ years in a lead role for cooking/manufacturing and/or related fields.
Following knowhow are big pluses.
Knowledge utilizing a depositor
Knowledge of pectin gummies a plus.
Knowledge of chocolate tempering
Knowledge of chocolate bar production
Ability to use a calculator to add, multiply, subtract and divide decimals and basic units of measure.
Basic mechanic knowledge to troubleshoot machines is a plus
Ability to lift 30# repeatedly and 50# on occasion is a necessity.
Communication Skills (Oral & Written) – able to speak clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective department operations.
