OVERVIEW
The Busser/Dishwasher position works closely with both the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to keep service running smoothly. Bussers/dishwashers are responsible for clearing tables, assisting servers during busy periods, and operating dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools. This role can be fast-paced, hands-on, and essential to delivering a positive experience for guests while supporting efficient kitchen and dining room operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Clear dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables.
Wipe & sanitize tables and chairs after guests leave.
Keep the dining room tidy and organized at all times.
Deliver additional items that guests need (napkins, utensils, condiments) usually at the server's request.
Help servers by clearing plates between courses when appropriate, and communicating guests needs.
Run food or drinks if needed.
Sweep floors and maintain cleanliness around tables and service areas.
Take out trash and keep the bus stations clean and organized.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity or knowledge of restaurant or hospitality preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills
- Customer-service orientation
- Strong attention to cleanliness & detail
- Positive/team-oriented attitude
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
- Part Time / Full Time (40 Hours)
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
- Food Handler's Certification preferred
Pay: $17.00 per hour
