We’re Hiring: Culinary Team Members (Starting from $16 to $22 per hour + Tips)

About the Role: We’re looking for passionate, motivated individuals—including students and those early in their culinary journeys—to join our team at the ground floor of a dining revolution. At nom, we’re elevating the quick-serve experience, blending high-quality ingredients with refined culinary techniques and making healthy dining accessible without compromise. Whether you’re stepping into the culinary world for the first time or bring 1-2 years of experience, nom offers a dynamic, supportive environment with the opportunity to learn directly from a Michelin-trained chef. As a team member, you’ll immerse yourself in every aspect of kitchen work, from food prep and cooking to customer service and maintaining a clean, efficient workspace. We value versatility, giving you the chance to rotate between back-of-house and front-of-house roles, gaining experience across all areas of the restaurant.

Responsibilities:

Crafting Califusion Dishes: Prepare a variety of dishes aligned with nom’s philosophy of wholesome, nutrient-rich, and beautifully presented food.

Customer Engagement: Serve guests with warmth and enthusiasm, sharing our passion for nutritious dining.

Hygiene & Safety: Adhere to strict food safety and cleanliness standards, keeping your station and equipment organized and pristine.

Team Versatility: Rotate between roles to support the entire team, contributing to a smooth, collaborative operation.

Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing skill development, with access to mentorship from a Michelin-trained chef to hone your culinary techniques and grow your expertise.

What We’re Looking For:

1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, or a deep interest in starting a culinary career.

A positive, can-do attitude and a desire to learn.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Strong communication skills, a commitment to quality, and a customer-first mindset.

Flexibility for rotating roles and shifts, including evenings and weekends.
