Responsibilities:
-Performs duties as assigned by the Facility Manager and/or his designee
-Performs preventive maintenance on equipment to maintain in good working condition
-Executes major equipment and construction projects
-Troubleshoots electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC problems
-Repairs and maintains heating, ventilation, air conditioning, roof needs, structural needs, and refrigeration equipment
-Constructs and demolishes walls, and performs other carpentry duties
-Floor repairs: carpet, tile, concrete floors (polished and unpolished), epoxy floorS
-Replaces ceiling fans, installs light bulbs, paints interior and exterior of buildings
-Programming thermostat and lighting sensors
-Moving/relocating furniture
-Handles facility emergencies as required
-Maintains records in accordance with work orders, job assignments, building inspections
-Completes duties in accordance with quality assurance, safety and other company programs and procedures, in accordance with government codes and regulations
-Maintains clean, organized and safe work area, including wiping and washing equipment and tools
-Sweeping mopping floors, and trash removal
-May travel to various locations to purchase parts, attend training or for other duties
-Work overtime as needed
-May perform other duties as required.
Skills:
-Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
-Proficient in electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications.
-Solid mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs.
-Experience with voltmeters and other diagnostic tools.
-Ability to read schematics for various systems within the facility.
-Familiarity with CMMS for tracking maintenance activities.
-Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
-Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and contractors.
-MUST BE BILINGUAL FLUENT SPANISH AND ENGLISH
