The Role

This role operates as line station cook

Prepare food to order as specified by the Chef and guest

o Follow recipes accurately as outlined by Chef

o Coordinate timing of dish completion with other cooks

o Accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions as directed by Chef

o Ensure all mis en place needed for service are ready for use

o Prior to service, prep dish elements such as stocks and garnishes. This may include chopping vegetables and butchery.

o Ensure tools such as knives, pans, are in place

o Consistently follow and complete prep lists according to company guidelines

o Label products accurately and follow First In First Out when managing storage

o Perform duties in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration

o Sanitize work stations

o Regular hand washing & station disinfection

o Mark and date all stored food

o Ensure dishes are prepared to accurate temperature

Station clean up

o Disposing of waste & accountability to composting programs

o Sweep and mop

o Clean all surfaces on station

o Store or dispose of all unused items

The right person for this role has a strong hospitality leadership background and prioritizes both guest and team member experience aligned with our mission of creating transporting experiences. The ideal candidate is equal parts people and process-driven with an aptitude for creating efficiencies at all levels of the business.

Preference will be given to those who possess:

Similar restaurant service experience

Proficient in full-service restaurant functions

Strong Communication skills

Strategic and Innovative Thinker

Valid California RBS and ServSafe Food Handler Certifications

Valid First Aid & OSHA Management Training an asset

Passionate, Positive, and Approachable
