Our clients, a lovely family in Corona del Mar, would like to hire a very experienced housekeeper who likes to clean, organize, iron, and care for a fine home. You would also support a busy mom who travels frequently with her packing and wardrobe management. This person must be comfortable driving and running errands and willing to pitch in with occasional dinner parties.
The general hours are Monday through Friday with flexibility to work around the principal's schedule, including an occasional weekend when the family entertains. If weekend work is needed, you would receive a day off during the week or overtime pay.
Compensation of $45-$60/hour plus health benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Assume full responsibility for the general and specialty cleaning of the home.
- Coordinate and oversee vendors and service providers.
- Maintain a project list and perform deep cleaning and organizational projects.
- Maintain all closets, perform all household laundry (including handwashing and ironing), and maintain the dry-cleaning log.
- Purchase groceries and household supplies and stock the home ahead of principal and guest arrivals and while they are in residence.
- Run errands as requested.
The right candidate has prior experience working as a Housekeeper in a private home or luxury hotel property. To be successful in this role you must have excellent cleaning skills, including knowledge in the care of fine materials and furnishings. It is important that candidates have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Verifiable references from previous employers are also a must.
