Would you like to work at an award-winning restaurant located on Pacific Coast Highway and enjoy beautiful ocean views daily? We are an upscale steak and seafood restaurant looking to hire an experienced line cook.
Line Cook duties and responsibilities:
Past experience working cold, sauté, and grill stations
Assisting with stocking and setting up
Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and preparing main dishes, desserts, appetizers and salads
Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance
Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
Line Cook requirements:
5+ years of line cook experience
Current food handler’s card and other certification as required by federal/state/local law
Punctuality and weekend/holiday availability a must
