Wedding Planner/Coordinator Business For Sale
Perfect for someone (or 2+ friends/partners) that wants to get into the event industry or has some experience in the industry and wants to be their own boss.
Must have a certain personality to succeed. You need to be friendly, outgoing, talkative, patient, be able to take criticism and take charge, be able to think and come up with solutions, remember details, be organized, and etc.
Business makes $50-60k part time or potentially $80-100k plus full time. This is all dependent upon how many weddings you take on and how many leads you convert to clients.
Position is geared for Females only (People will not hire you if you are a guy sorry thats just way the industry works I dont have any control over that)
This is an established business and as such we spend $0 in advertising costs. We have been very fortunate and lucky enough that we get business organically and we get so many inquiries that we have to turn away potential clients constantly (we turn away about 20-60 or more serious inquiries each year which is about $50-150k worth if you were to take on all those potential clients) So if you want to work a lot of hours there is a lot of potential and possible money to be made on top of the current business that we take on. I would however recommend in the beginning that the new owner(s) advertise and then you can slowly stop.
This is going to be a very hands on business sell and transfer from us to the new owner. There will be training. For the new buyers we will offer "job shadowing", ability to attend some events and jump on calls with us so you can learn every aspect of the business so you can carry on the success the business has created. This isn't necessary if the person or persons who purchase don't want to or already possess the experience in the industry.
This business has made $45k - 60k part time each year for the last 3 years (roughly 1-2 events per month that is our controlled amount again we did not want to work more than this). Yes we currently run it part time because we work regular Monday-Friday jobs and run this business on top of that. We could make more and still keep our jobs but we want to have a social life outside of work. New owner could use this as a full time job only and make this their career.
Asking price $60k for the business (includes the business, website, ig account, our tips and training, etc.)
Reason for Selling: Health Issues wont be able to run it in the future. So selling now while I can still run it.
