WOK COOK/PREP

We are seeking an experienced Wok Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Asian Thai cuisine and expertise in high-flame wok cooking. You will be responsible for preparing a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency in flavor and presentation while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items using high-flame wok techniques.

Collaborate with the head chef to develop and enhance menu offerings.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.

Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on wok techniques and Asian cooking styles.

Ensure timely preparation and presentation of dishes during service.

Adjust cooking methods and ingredients based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Wok Chef or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant.

Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine and high-flame cooking techniques.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

A culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
