Responsabilidades:
- Asistencia en cuidado personal: Baño, vestimenta, y ayuda con el aseo personal.
- Preparación de comidas: Cocinar comidas nutritivas según las necesidades dietéticas.
- Recordatorio de medicamentos: Asegurarse de que los medicamentos se tomen según lo recetado.
- Asistencia en movilidad: Ayudar con transferencias, caminar y uso de ayudas para la movilidad.
- Tareas domésticas ligeras: Lavandería, lavado de platos y mantener los espacios ordenados.
- Compañía: Proporcionar apoyo emocional, conversación y participar en actividades con el paciente.
- Transporte: Asistencia con transporte a citas médicas, mandados, o actividades sociales.
- Supervisión de seguridad: Garantizar la seguridad y bienestar del paciente en todo momento.
- Mantenimiento de registros: Registrar cuidados proporcionados, medicamentos administrados y observaciones importantes.
Responsibilities include:
1. Personal care assistance: Helping with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
2. Meal preparation: Planning and cooking nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
3. Medication reminders: Assisting with medication schedules and ensuring medications are taken as prescribed.
4. Mobility assistance: Helping with transferring, walking, and mobility aids as needed.
5. Light housekeeping: Performing tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up living spaces.
6. Companionship: Providing emotional support, conversation, and engaging in activities with the client.
7. Transportation: Assisting with transportation to appointments, errands, or social outings.
8. Monitoring health: Observing and reporting any changes in the client’s health or condition to healthcare professionals or family members.
9. Safety supervision: Ensuring the safety and well-being of the client at all times.
10. Record keeping: Maintaining accurate records of care provided, medications administered, and any notable observations.
Requirements/Requisitos:
- Experience with dementia patients preferred. / Experiencia con pacientes de demencia preferida.
- Fluent in English and Spanish. / Fluidez en inglés y español.
- Compassionate and patient. / Compasivo/a y paciente.
- Reliable transportation. / Transporte confiable.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States. / Elegibilidad legal para trabajar en los Estados Unidos.
