Functions : Renders personal assistance to residents such as bathing, grooming, dressing, escorting to meals and activities in a manner that is conducive to the resident's safety and comfort. Gives support to comprehensive care including medication (oral medication, eye drops, ear drops, creams), incontinence care, and lifting as needed. Answers call signals promptly. Documents care provided to the residents in the logbooks in the office. Helps in setting up the dining room prior to meals. Serves meals. Cleans the dining room after meals.
Physical/Sensory Requirements : Walking, reaching, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, communicate with residents and personnel; remain calm under stressful conditions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write and follow verbal instructions and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job. Must have a valid First Aid Training and CPR card. Must have a cleared fingerprint record obtained from the Department of Justice as required by Community Care Licensing.
