Independent Life Care Services, Inc. is looking for reliable, trustworthy and patient caregivers to work one-on-one with our Supported Living and Independent Living clients in their homes and accompany them while out in the community. (Locations vary throughout OC.) We are a Regional Center of Orange County vendor.
Day, afternoon, evening and overnight, weekend shifts are available. Part and full time. Wage starts at $16.50 up to 17.50 per hour, depending on experience.
Opportunities to add hours with IHSS (In Home Support Services).
Job Duties include: Provide personal care, companionship and assistance with daily living tasks, meal prep, cooking, cleaning, shopping, medical and other appointments in the community, medication monitoring etc. depending on the client's individual needs.
Male and female caregivers are welcome to apply.
Bilingual Vietnamese and Spanish Speaking encouraged to apply. Familiarity with hard of hearing and deaf also needed.
Qualifications:
- Caring, Reliable, Responsible, Trustworthy, Patient
- Ability to speak, read and write basic English.
- Some experience caring for or helping others (including family members or other unpaid support).
Employment Criteria:
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance (for drivers)
- Pass Drug and TB screening.
- Pass DOJ background check.
- Willing to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid Certification.
