Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering high-quality care to our patients. Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including but not limited to: preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist.
Take and develop dental x-rays as instructed by the dentist.
Prepare materials for impressions and restorations.
Provide patient care and support, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Perform various office tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and handling administrative duties.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience preferred.
X-ray certification preferred.
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
