Adult Residential Facility
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily activities, including personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, etc.), meal preparation, and mobility assistance
Help clients with medication reminders and other health-related needs
Develop and follow individualized care plans to support clients’ physical, emotional, and social needs
Encourage and support clients in achieving personal goals and independence
Provide companionship and engage clients in social, recreational, and community activities
Document client progress and report any changes in health, behavior, or condition to supervisors.
Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean living environment
Advocate for the rights and well-being of clients, ensuring their dignity and independence are respected
Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping.
Offer companionship and emotional support
Follow a personalized care plan and report changes to the supervisor
Education
1 year experience preferred supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a California Driver’s License.
Candidates must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check.
Direct Support Professional Certificate Year 1 & Year 2 (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first 6 months of hire).
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first 6 months of hire).
Must have First Aid / CPR.
Current Physical and TB test (within Current yr)
