Job description: We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Live-in Caregiver to join our team at a 6-bed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) in Orange County. Our mission is to create a warm, inclusive environment where seniors feel safe, respected, and valued. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality personal care including hygiene, toileting, incontinence support, grooming, and bathing
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with residents’ dietary needs
- Administer medications accurately and on schedule with proper documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary home environment
- Assist with mobility, repositioning, hydration, and daily activities
- Monitor and record vital signs, and report any changes in physical or mental condition to the Administrator or Manager
- Participate in activity programs and promote social engagement
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Create a welcoming and supportive environment that fosters resident independence and comfort
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Minimum 9 months of direct care experience with elderly or related populations
- Valid negative TB test (within the last 6 months) and current health screening
- DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance (Live Scan) required before employment
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including booster
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Strong communication skills in English (bilingual candidates encouraged to apply)
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Punctual, dependable, and flexible with schedule, including holidays and weekends
- Passion for supporting seniors in a homelike setting
Available Shifts
Day Shift (8:00a - 4:30p)
Evening Shift (4:30p - 9pm)
Weekends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $160.00 - $200.00 per day
Work Location: In person
