Our busy Podiatry clinic in Mission Viejo is hiring a new full-time front/back medical assistant that can work 4 days a week for at least 2 years. We are looking to start as soon as possible.
This MA position is a great opportunity for those who want to get patient care experience as a potential podiatrist, doctor, or PA. In fact, we've had over 8 employees so far who have been accepted to PA school!
Medical assistant duties include both front and back office tasks such as:
-answering phone calls
-making appointments
-verifying insurance
-creating authorizations
-rooming patients and recording medical history
-taking vitals
-setting up sterile fields
-sterilizing medical instruments
-fitting patients with durable medical equipment
-assisting the doctor with procedures
Experience in healthcare is a plus but NOT required! No Ma license required. Training will be provided. Compensation is dependent on experience.
