Our 6-bed Intermediate Care Facility is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Staff (DCS) to provide quality care and support to individuals. This role is essential in helping residents lead fulfilling lives by assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Support individuals with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
Monitor and report changes in residents’ health, behavior, and well-being.
Assist with medication administration (if certified and authorized).
Follow individualized care plans and behavioral support programs.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment by assisting with housekeeping tasks.
Accurately document residents’ daily activities, progress, and any incidents.
Ensure compliance with all facility policies, state regulations, and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Ability to lift/move individuals and assist as needed.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving residents’ quality of life.
Must pass a background check.
